Chicken Creek in de Verenigde Staten

I've rated this with 4 stars due to the fact that the location I lodged at had an uneven surface from one end to another and it was beginning to erode.

We spent three nights at Chicken Creek campground, location 37. The campground was surprisingly empty when we arrived. I went to the host on site to verify that the campground was open and luckily she said yes. We had our pick of the entire park. The sites have water and 30 amp service. A dump station is near the front of the park. The sites are nicely spread out. Very scenic park and elevated views surrounding Lake Tenkiller.

We stayed 2 nights in August. Pros-sites are spread out, lots of shade to choose from, pretty setting on the lake and easy to get to any other areas of Tenkiller (we went fishing with friends on the river). Cons- most elevating we’ve had to do yet, but we wanted a nice lake view so it was worth it. Definitely some twisty turns getting to the grounds. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful beautiful easy to pull in 100 locations all look fairly easy to back into didn't see any pull thru ones boat ramp no designate swimming area but with some swimming shoes you can walk on the rocky shore and swim Stayed two nights dump station by exit Pay station is honor system you take an envelope and put money in and take a slip from envelope and put in rearview mirror
