We’ve stayed here several times so far usually for 4 days at a time. We have only encountered friendly people and the sites are clean with some desert dust mixed in. Hookups are great and appropriately placed. Spaces are semi-private via tall shrubs. There is a pool and hot tub on-site and 2 off leash dog runs.

Turned out to be a great location for our visit. Fortunately we did not have bikes with us, as they probably would've been stolen, based on discussions with fellow campers. Facilities were cleaned multiple times a day, and the pool/spa maintained daily. Everyone we met was friendly. Park has different events during week (cheeseburger fridays, bonfire Friday nights, breakfast sundays, etc). I agree with others that the park could be improved quite a bit with some perimeter security (fence repairs, gated entrance). The park offers great views of the mountain range. As mentioned, the sites are fairly narrow.

Easy check in although some mix up at checkin and our travel partners were put in another persons site but thankfully didn’t have to move. We had a no sewer site which was fine except its along a strip that backs onto a public trail. Our first night our locked mountain bikes had parts stolen. Our next door neighbors bikes were actually stolen. When I mentioned it at the front office all i was told is it happens a lot. I can file a police report if i want First if they fix the fence and plant some bushes or put a privacy fence up it may deter theft. We also noticed random cars driving thru sites. There should be a security check in to stop this. Wifi doesn’t work. No cable and sites were dirty On the plus side it’s convenient to town hiking and parks

This is about 5 miles away from I-10, but that has pros and cons. The traffic lights and such to get there from I-10 suck, but there's no noise from the highway. There are planes approaching Palm Springs airport, but that stops around 10pm. The park is clean and nice. Hookups were convenient. The sites are dense, but enough room for your awning and chairs. Sites are separated by hedges, which is a nice touch. Downtown Palm Springs is a 15-minute drive. Not enough length to stay hitched overnight.

We used RPI for this so our stay was $15 a night. Stayed two nights and would have been happy to stay longer. The only complaint (not much of one)is that our site didn’t have a picnic table and the neighbor was using our 20 amp plug. Not a big deal as we were only there for two nights. Otherwise, friendly worker, grounds were very clean and well kept. We will be back!!

We had to extend our stay here for a month after we took significant damage by a wind storm boondocking north of here. They were super helpful about extending our stay to a month. Good location close to everything. Att and T-Mobile must be pretty congested as they have decent reception but slow speed. Still fine for most needs though. Decent pool and hot tub. Recommend paying for the spots with hedges otherwise your pretty open and it can get dusty. Huge spots.

We have never been to Cathedral palms RV park before but when we arrived, they put us at the front gate in their temporary lot. We booked in November and had to do an online check in the day before we arrived so I would assume they knew we were coming. I had booked a nice place in the middle of the park but they say they gave it away to someone else who was staying longer. The front gate was noisy, dusty, lacked privacy and all around was a bad setup. That coupled with minimal to no internet, no cable hookup’s and our neighbors got their bike stolen. Apparently that is not the only bike to get stolen from this “Oasis”. As we discussed with others, it became apparent that this is an ongoing theme at this park. Homeless come in and items leave with them. So unless you want to lock everything up, don’t stay here. Additionally, the staff is less than helpful. If anything happens all you get is “I am sorry” and that’s it. So they had my reservation since November, gave away my chosen site, made us sit at the front gate and didn’t even get much of a sorry. When we mentioned the bikes being stolen, their reply is it’s your own fault. Get better locks. What a great atmosphere they create here. Makes you want to come back for more…. Said no one ever!

Though it didn’t offer any pull through, it was roomy enough to back our 30ft Airstream. We’re appreciative of Dave being informative and helpful. Wifi was not functional but we could use our hotspot. No surprises with full hookups. It’s conveniently located between Palm Springs and Palm Desert.

Cathedral Palms is a nice campground, conveniently located in the Palm Springs area. The sites are level, with full hookups and nicely spaced. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that it is in the flight path of Palm Springs Airport. It is not a very busy airport, but we had airplanes passing over us every day, during daytime and early evening. Never during the night.

We've previously stayed at several other RV parks in the Palm Springs area and I think this might be our new favorite. It's not fancy, and the gravel roads and sandy sites do create some dust when the wind kicks up, but we appreciated the size of our site and the fact that it was surrounded on three sides by tall hedges. The pool area, laundry room, and bocce court/picnic tables are all basic, clean, and in working order. The office staff was excellent, the mail situation convenient, and the park itself very quiet (the surrounding area, not so much). One thing to note is that the site quality varies a lot here. The middle sites are arranged in rows of back-in sites that back up to each other. We hate this set-up because it means that our back bedroom window is looking directly into another RV. So we choose a site on the edge of the park. These "Premium" sites are a bit wider and all have hedges in the back. Some (but not all) also have tall hedges on both sides. We thought that our site (38) was one of the best.

Five mins to anywhere in the PS area. Was a bit run down in the early 2000, but they tell me now, it looks pretty good. I have stayed here on and off for years, and always enjoyed it. Nice pool and spa area, it seemed a reasonable rate at the times I stayed, but can’t remember every time I stayed, or what I paid. They also have a nice big laundry room, library, etc.
