Woodlands Camping Resort

265 Starkey Lane
21921, Elkton
Maryland, Stati Uniti d'America

Established in 1974, Woodlands Camping Resort is located in the heart of the Elk Neck State Forest and is open year round for transient camping.  We're close to I-95, Delaware, and are only 2 miles off of Route 40.  We have an in-ground pool, lake fishing, hiking trails, a basketball court, a full-service bathhouse and much more. We also offer seasonal camping with the season running from April 1st to October 31st, and we have many events during this time that are setup by our entertainment committee.  We maintain a family atmosphere and would love to have your family come and join us for a weekend!

This "Resort" is primarily occupied by permanent or seasonal cabins, chalets, and RVs, making up 75% of the site. The bathrooms and toilets are kept in pristine condition, although they are a half-mile away from our RV parking spot for the night. It's recommended to bring leveling blocks and wheel chocks as the sites have a hilly and uneven terrain. Most sites have 30amp power and water, and there's a waste disposal station if required. We chose to stay here due to its proximity to our beloved Crab Shack, "The Tap House", a 20-minute drive away. It's worth noting that the place may not be particularly suitable for children or pets, given the extensive list of rules. There's a small marshy pond at the end of the RV row, a somewhat eerie pet graveyard, and a still-in-use human cemetery if you follow the Holly Trail from the bathroom. The $45 fee is relatively low compared to other places, making the overall "value" fairly average.
