Relax in a quiet area tucked away in the North woods. Drop your anchor here, we've been a family camping resort on West Michigan's Gold Coast since 1913, the oldest campground in Michigan. Located on a narrow peninsula between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan we are a beach resort. We have a shallow, safe, sandy private beach on Bass Lake and it is only a short, ten minute walk to a world class, off the beaten path, beautiful, sugar sand public beach on Lake Michigan. A sugar sand beach like found no where else in the world, listen to the music of the sand as you walk across it. Our modern 82 site campground is mostly full hookup with cable TV and Wi-fi but we also have an in the woods area for tents. We have RV rentals, canoe, paddle boat and kayak rentals and a dock to moor your boat. Whispering Surf Camping Resort is the ideal place for you and your family to spend your summer outing.
