Terrible campsite, extremely filthy, the campsite owners daughter jessica hazards husbad Greg meyer is a creep! He would drive his ATV threw out the campsite then park it next to my trailer and look threw my windows while i was changing! What a creep! Greg meyer is always drunk and he shoots off his guns on the property as he lives on the campsite! Defiantly not safe for kids no laundry facility! The bathrooms are run down.freezing cold moldy showers! And there cottages leak water and need alot of work.greg meyer installed video cameras and pointed them directly at my camper!! (Stalker)! Noone wears a mask theres full time residents that live all year round and cause alot of trouble! Check out pilgrium lake campground on google reviews and you will see all the real bad reviews! The owners daughter Jessica has her friends& familly and the full timers, especially kathy G will post only good reviews on there facebook account! Dont pay any mind to those lies! Save your money and go to a better clean drama free campground! No wifi at all, and when scott the owner fills your propane tank he fills it only half way and will charge you to fill it! Then he never sanitizes down the tanks, during covid.the state will be comming up to check on these things as i spoke to them

This is a beautiful campground, set on a lake with lovely owners. It’s easy to get to and close to the Jersey Shore. There is a great brewery about 20 min away. There’s a beautiful bike path (albeit along a main road) and miles to hike. The lake is small but pretty and they have canoes for rent. Sites are wooded and spacious. The setting is absolutely lovely. However, be prepared to spend 30 minutes getting into and out of your site. The roads within the campground are VERY narrow and heavily wooded. There are no easy turns and you maybe have some scars left on vehicle or trailer from the brush and or small trees that overhang the road. We are seasoned trailer pullers both with a boat and 31’ TT and it was challenging. But if you’re up for an adventure, you will love this campground.
