Nov 2022: Thankful for an Open CG when everyone else had closed down! We had a spacious site right along the River. 30 amp & water only. But there is a dump station. A nice clubhouse to work from. Mostly seasonal people, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Accessible for big rigs. Good to know: Showers require quarters Extremely friendly staff. Strong wi-fi.

We are new to RVing, but not camping so we were excited to get out in our trailer. The park was fully booked except site P-4 (“P” for pull through site, of which there are 5). We were pleasantly surprised to find that the pull through sites are shaded beautifully as well as large in size. All the pull through sites are full hookup while riverfront sites are water and electric only. Our site had 50,30,20 amp service, cable tv, water and sewer all conveniently placed for our rig. The electric pedestal was in very good condition and (according to our surge protector) wired correctly. My only issue was the fire pit placement was not in a place where I would call convenient, but was likely the safe place due to the trees. We didn’t intend to use it anyway so it wasn’t really a complaint on our end. The park itself was a mix of weekend warriors/full timers and seasonal campers. The grounds were quite nice, and there were plenty of open areas to walk the dogs in grassy places. Due to Covid-19 we weren’t able to check out movies or games from the store. The store is small but well kept and sells the typical fare. The real beauty is in the river though. Right now in July the river level is low but still calf deep. Tubing is a bit limited to a lazy float in shallow water but still fun and relaxing. Overall it was a great experience and we have booked 2 more stays.
