A nice little camp spot run by the town with power, toilets and hot shower.
Maisie Thompson Camping Ground is in Gooloogong, almost the half way point between Forbes and Cowra A small quiet friendly country town It is across the road from the pub and small shops as well. There are kayaking and fishing opportunities on the Lachlan River within 1 km of the camp area. Sun or shaded areas on grass. Donations very much appreciated. Children's play area

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
