All the showers for women are out of order. We are also out of propane. However, we offer a great deal at $64 for our Site 3 amenities.

The folks next door turned up yesterday evening and extended their slide to the point where it's merely three feet away from our entryway steps. We have photographic evidence. We reached out to the management and they verified that campers should not extend their slides in that particular area and they are indeed too close to our spot. However, they either cannot or will not take any action. They approved this reservation and then allowed the area to become overcrowded. We're uncertain if we'll be able to exit our spot due to their proximity blocking our way to the road. If you're considering booking here, steer clear of the value spots. The park regulations clearly state that campers should not infringe on others' spaces, but these rules are not enforced.

Our lodging for five nights, spanning the Christmas to New Year period, was here as we visited Universal Studios. The campsite was situated a 25-minute drive away from the amusement park. Our stay was generally pleasant. The check-in process was entirely digital, eliminating the need to visit the office. Both swimming pools were enjoyable and heated. The laundry facilities were satisfactory, with the larger, more popular one located at the back. An app provides access to these amenities, eliminating the need for coins or tokens, but a kiosk accepting card payment is also available. The other inhabitants/guests were friendly and maintained a peaceful environment. I believe that around 70 percent of the spots are occupied by permanent structures, with a few mobile homes scattered throughout. The power and water supply points could use an upgrade but are still functional. In summary, we had a positive experience and would consider returning.

The setting is fantastic, with the central Winter Gardens being a popular spot for tourists and bustling with activity in the evenings. We usually leave by 10pm, so we managed well. However, the camping site is a different matter. The manager seems indifferent to the guests. I only saw her once and she didn't even greet me. The camping spots are disappointingly cramped. I struggled to position my vehicle between two trees, barely having enough space to park my truck, let alone accommodate a guest. It's a massive RV park, with many aging RVs. It resembles a large laundry room, especially towards the far end. It seems more catered to long-term RVs rather than short-term stays. I don't believe they value us transient guests. They cram us into such tight spaces, it's awful. My neighbor even complained about the noise from my LP gas heater, illustrating just how close we are. We're in a 35ft 5th wheel, so there's not much we can do about that. They do have two swimming pools, but they're in dire need of cleaning. The roads, or rather paths, are extremely narrow. The main road is decently sized, but not the one you exit from. As I mentioned earlier, it's a tight squeeze throughout. We watched a 42ft Class A struggle to fit into his spot, which was humorous for us, but definitely not for him. Despite their website claiming to accommodate large vehicles, I was parked on top of tree roots. You can visit and see for yourself. I won't be returning. On a positive note, the cable TV was satisfactory, but there was no Wi-Fi.

We truly enjoy the camping site, it's fantastic. Nonetheless, the person in charge isn't pleasant. Each time we visited the administrative office, she seemed to be in a constant argument with someone. She consistently gave off the impression that we were bothering her. I understand her role could be demanding, but she should treat her clients with more kindness. The Starlink service was satisfactory at this location.

The location gives the most benefit here. The park gives a bit of an oasis in a busy suburban area. We found the staff helpful and efficient--we had some issues with our original assigned site and they quickly gave us another that worked very well for us. A lot of traffic noise, but to be expected along a busy highway (Colonial/Hwy 50)--location has its plusses and minuses. We drove a bit (15-30 minutes) to the Lake Apopka North Shore Wildlife Drive. Free with a great many birds, gators, and one croc who seemed particularly...interested...in us. We also enjoyed the downtown area. Good restaurants and a great bookstore, and also close to Mt. Dora which we enjoy for the same reasons.
