We are situated about three kilometers outside Gytheio, on the road to Areopoli. At our prize-winning 25-acre olive grove, we aim to help you relax and enjoy yourself.
Stay amongst the dense olive trees or in the shade of the pine trees that run the length of the outstanding Mavrovouni beach.
The seashore, which is ideal for an evening stroll, extends for 4½ kilometers. The sea is usually peaceful, a refuge for the protected loggerhead turtle Caretta-Caretta, but when the wind blows, the waves are most impressive. That is why surfers flock here from all over the world, leaving their equipment in a purpose-built area while they wait for the meltemi wind that the campsite is named after, which brings the ideal conditions for their sport.

Πήγαμε αρχές Σεπτέμβρη, ο κόσμος είχε αραιώσει και ηταν αυτο ακριβώςπου ζητάγαμε. Καθαρές εγκαταστάσεις, ηρεμία για χλάρωση, πολύ ωραία παραλία και άψογα φαγητά. Άψογα

Πήγαμε στο τέλος Αυγούστου, οπότε είχε αραιώσει και ο κόσμος. Το camping είναι πολύ φιλικό. Ειδικά για τα παιδιά. Βέβαια το απόγευμα ο αέρας είναι μόνιμος κάτι που χαροποιεί τους surfers αλλά όχι πάντα τους λοιπούς... Είναι καλό μέρος και για βόλτες στη Μάνη (σπήλαιο Διρού, κτλ).

Πέρασα ενα 4μερο του σεπτεμβρίου πραγματικά υπέροχο. Ο καλός καιρός σε συνδιασμό με την ευγένια του προσωπικού, τη καθαριότητα του χώρου κ τις παροχές του camping είναι κάτι το αξιοσημείωτο! Στον χώρο υποδοχής υπήρχε το καρτελάκι "zoover" κ ετσι εμαθα για τον οδηγό κ πήρα το θάρρος να γράψω. Εύχομαι σε όσους κάνουν ακόμα διακοπές να περάσουν οσο όμορφα πέρασα κ εγώ!

simple, but effective organisation. Excellent swimms in the morning calm warm sea waters - great wind surfing every afternoon, open air cinema in the venings, sea turle nesting beach- protection volunteering- great nature near by on mount Taygetus

Wir fühlen uns dort immer wie Hause und lieben diesen Platz sehr. Wir kommen
mit Womo , Kindern und Hund angereist und sind dort stets sehr glücklich und zufrieden gewesen.

Z campingów na jakich byłem w Grecji to chyba najlepsze miejsce, plaża, morze, basen, restauracja, sklep, toalety - trudno się do czegoś przyczepić. Poza tym fajna, ogólnodostępna kuchnia z lodówkami, kuchenkami gazowymi i stołami do jedzenia - rzadko spotykane na innych campingach. No i okolica po prostu cudowna (tu się nie zgodzę z Anetą, która dodała poprzednią opinię) - mnie płw. Mani oczarował. Ważne też, że camping jest duży, i nawet w sezonie powinno znaleźć się miejsce - nie o wszystkich campingach można to powiedzieć. W każdym razie w tym roku też tam mam zamiar przyjechać.

Stonden er 4 dagen in de olijfboomgaard met matig/halfschaduw. Direct aan groot strand. Luidruchtige buren.Restaurant ondermaats (koud eten). Githeo 10 autominuten. Prima voor een paar dagen.

Een hele fijne camping, aan het strand aan de baai bij Mavrovouni. Aan de andere kant ligt de (voorheen)doorgaande weg tussen Gythio en Areopoli. Er is een simpel restaurant op de camping zelf. Sanitair erg netjes. Gythio op fietsafstand, maar wel over weg zonder fietspad, en als je vanaf Gythio terug gaat, een pittige klim.

Voor tenten en lage busjes leuke plaatsen onder de olijfbomen. Voor caravans en campers overdekte plaatsen voor de nodige schaduw. Gelegen aan breed zandstrand. Campingwinkel en selfservice restaurant. Gythion is gelegen op zo'n 7 kilometer afstand.
