Through daily business practices focusing on promoting and preserving our natural resources, we strive to provide camping families a place to experience & reconnect with nature through vacations that are both fun and environmentally responsible.
This camping site's webpage displays a slogan that encapsulates its essence - an authentic experience in nature. This is precisely what you can expect from this campsite. It is situated in a forested area, equipped with electricity and water facilities. Though it maintains a very rustic feel, it is sufficiently equipped. Some spots are adjacent to a beautiful stream, and every spot is furnished with a picnic table, a fire pit, and a garbage bin. The park is also dotted with recycling bins. The staff members are extremely amiable. The lake features a sandy beach for swimming, a compact mini-golf course, and a game room filled with arcade games. The souvenir shop is filled with unique items and even offers ice cream! Despite being less than five miles away from the highway, the campsite feels like a secluded oasis, completely immersed in nature. Deer can be spotted frequently, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. We were utterly smitten with this place.

This is the perfect campground if you have a smaller rig or are tent camping. The area is very nice, well-maintained, staff is very friendly and helpful, electric and water supply is good, and wifi is decent. The hike up to the wolf preserve next door is enjoyable even though the educational wolf tours were sold out (very popular). The grounds were very quiet, almost solitary, through the week and then packed during the weekend but everyone was pleasant and well behaved. However, my 32' coach was probably the largest one there. Roads are narrow and sites are very unlevel -- I couldn't get the RV totally level as much as I tried. The dump station is squeezed into the front of the camp so after the mid-week tank dump, I had to pull out into the street and K-turn back in. That was the only issue I had all week, though. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
