The park was full when I arrived. But as I was in my RV looking for another place, the hostess came out and told me that they had a spot that wasn't a normal spot but had electricity.

We selected this park because they indicated they could accommodate big rigs (40’ DRV 5th wheel) and because it was nearby the museums for Jesse James and the Pony Express. The location is great. They have wifi that mostly works and a cell tower less than 50’ from campground. The power 30/50 amp is good. The bad is that when we arrived we could see how tightly packed they have the campers. There is not even room for a picnic table at your site. Vehicles have to be parked in the access alley. If everyone were present, no one would be able to leave because you would be parked in. The campground’s primary customers seem to be trades people living there while they work during the day. We saw work trucks roll in shortly after five and multiple workers sharing a camper. The ugly part is some of the campers were in terrible condition and not road worthy. It was a good location for what we needed, but if I had my druthers I would probably park further away from the city and drive to the sites. This city has so much great history. It would be a shame to miss this stop.

Price is way too high for this rundown park.
