It's a big RV park with tight rows of sites. I'm talking 2 ft of grass between you and the next guy. There does seem to be room for slide outs and awnings, which are abundant here. We found ourselves wondering why anyone stays here (and they do, the place is packed) so we asked around: 1) They come to visit family who live in LA area. The park is conveniently located and just outside of the LA crazy zone. 2)They come for Six Flags (that's why we did!) 3)The park has lots of long term residents. 4)There is a heated pool (currently broken) and wifi (currently broken), and nice laundry facilities (all machines working). Otherwise, if you enjoy tripping over your neighbors' sewage hoses, electrical cords, aux cables, vehicles, scooters, multiple bicycles, large grills, fencing for their many small yappy dogs, and their portable fire pits this is the place for you!!

$50 per night for full hook-ups and cable, $25 with Passport America (not valid weekends and some holidays), $295 weekly rate, and $835-$935 monthly rate (depending on time of year). This is a very large, clean and professionally run RV park. Complete with a store, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, large laundry accepting credit cards, several dog parks and walks, playground, 2 baseball fields and several bathrooms. Though it is next to a busy road there are sound barriers and a beautiful mountain view behind the park. We stay here to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain which is 2 minutes away. This is our third visit to this RV Park, in past visits we took the 45 minute drive into LA several times. Review by Amy

We stayed here while visiting Universal Studios to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It admittedly wasn't our first choice because we didn't want to be far away from the theme park, but we were pleasantly surprised by this spot. Balboa RV Park was closed on January 1st so we couldn't arrive there that day--I'm thinking because they tow you in themselves. Walnut RV Park was booked, but they recommended Valencia Travel Village so I gave them a call. The gentleman who helped me book a reservation was extremely friendly and helpful. He eased my concerns about the traffic from Castaic to Universal City, and he was absolutely right. It didn't take us longer than thirty minutes each way, so VTV was very convenient and probably a lot quieter than being right in the city anyway. The park is surrounded by serene rolling hills and pretty skies in the morning and evening. They do pack in the campers tight, but we weren't there to hang out by the campfire and grill burgers outside on this trip. This was perfect for what we needed--free showers and a safe and clean place to park our traveling hotel room. The full hookups were a nice perk. There seem to be quite a few long-term guests, but all were as kind and friendly as the staff. Though the spaces are small, I feel the park puts forth a good effort in making it feel comfortable. The buildings onsite are all painted red with white trim, and there's a pretty white fence around the whole place. It's cozy and quaint. There are clean restrooms and showers, laundry, a convenience store, several pools but only the adult pool is open in the winter, a pretty dated adult lounge that I'm not sure what it's used for. There is a dog run, but we don't have pets so I can't comment on the quality of that. There are basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a community fire pit, shuffleboard, and a playground--none of which we took advantage but might have if we had been staying longer. Lastly, this park is literally around the corner from Six Flags Magic Mountain, so it would be the absolute perfect place to stay if you're visiting that theme park.

We stayed here for a week while visiting Six Flags in March 2015. The park is very convenient to Six Flags (10 minutes) and the town of Valencia. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hot tub looked nice (although we didn't use it, it was frequently full of people). There's a decent-sized fenced dog area... it's long which is nice, but very narrow, maybe 15 feet wide. There are two on-leash dog areas (a grassy area near the tennis court and one near the office) but since the RV park is on a main highway, there's no place to walk dogs outside the park. Apart from the hot tub and tennis court, there's also a nice playground for kids. The park is pretty large, but 90% of it is occupied by full-time residents with the accompanying clutter, including many with tent-like carports set up next to their rigs, which detracts somewhat from the appeal. Our big complaint is that our site was extremely small... uncomfortably so for a week-long stay. Our camping side only had three feet of space before our neighbor's slide-outs were in our way. We found a section with much larger sites and asked if we could be moved there, and we were told those sites are for daily guests, not weekly. We would only return if we were going to Six Flags again, and we would just stay for a day or two due to the campsite size issue.

This is a massive RV park mostly inhabited by full-timers. The park is extremely clean and professionally run. The location is nice, just miles from Castaic/Valencia, so if you need anything it is nearby. The spots are average size for California. The pools are nice and kept up very well. The park is not too far from LA, either, if you need to run down there for something. It is also close to Six Flags, so if you are going there for the weekend, it is a great spot for that. Internet is intermittently excellent, and intermittently unusable.
