This is our second winter here and it is as awesome as the first year. This is truly a Goldilocks campground in relation to winter temperatures -- not too hot and not too cold -- Perfect. The road has some traffic but the noise is not bad. Our spot is close to the road and we really do not notice any noise normally. There is a comfortable home-like feeling here and everyone in the campground gets to know each other after a while -- not too big in size and not to small. The Staff are super and always make sure we have what we need. The location is premium - Tucked away in the middle of national and state forests, and located with in a 2 minute walk to the St. Johns river, you can just chill, or walk, or bicycle, or go fishin' !!! There is a small grocery with nice staff near, excellent choice of restaurants within a mile or two, access to fuel and propane close by, an ACE hardware near for those fix-it needs, and even a dog groomer that will come and pickup your pups in the morning and return them in the early afternoon!!! Very cool. I give overwhelming top recommendations to this campground.
