Le Chassezac in Frankrijk

We hebben half juli tot begin augustus gekampeerd op deze camping. Plaats 73, mooie grote plaats, tent/tarp/auto, past prima. Dichtbij rivier en ver genoeg van de avondmuziek bij de bar. Bij aankomst troffen wij het sanitair zeer netjes en schoon aan, dit bleef de rest van de vakantie ook zo. Zwembad is niet groot, maar in combinatie met de rivier echt uitstekend. De rivier zorgt heerlijk voor verkoeling, vooral leuk ook met kinderen, visjes vangen, stenen zoeken, dammen bouwen, veel te doen. Animatie is er alleen in het Frans, dit is op zich jammer, maar met wat vriendjes op de camping misten wij dit niet. Eten op de camping kan ook prima, in het restaurant en afhalen, allebei goed. De campinggasten waren overwegend Frans op een paar Nederlandse gezinnen na. De receptie spreekt prima Engels. Broodjesservice ook goed, tip: bestel voor wat vezels een Boule voor de volgende ochtend. Wij hebben het top gehad!

A small and friendly site, away from the crowds in the Ardeche valley, but with a lovely river (with 'beach' area and swimming), canoeing from the site a smallish but heated pool (unfortunately no paddling pool or pool toilet block), and a small children's play area. There is a small and very friendly family team who run the site. Toilet facilities are immaculate, even at the end of the season, (providing the clientele respect the facilities) there is a washing machine and dryer, plenty of showers, and basins in cubicles. The toilets cubicles open to the outside of the building, which is 'open plan'. The pitches are large and flat, easy to access, and each separated by mature trees. The site is shady (essential in the thirty-odd degree temperatures we're still having in early September). The leaves can fall early in dry season and this can mean a lot of leaves around the site but staff do their best to keep the pitches clear. There is a small shop selling essentials, and cheap local wine. Bread is available to order. There is a bar, restaurant and take-away. Pizzas are good and reasonably priced, and theme meals are organised at weekends in peak season and are good value for money. There are shops and restaurants within a walk or short drive, a SuperU supermarket a few kilometres away, with cheap fuel, and the towns of Ruoms and Vallon Pont d'Arc are only a few minutes drive away. There is a caravan accessories shop just up the road, useful if you need anything camping related. Tariffs, especially in low season, are very reasonable and the site is now accepting the ACSI Card at just 13 euros per night. The site offers gardiennage for a very reasonable 185 euros per year.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour au camping le Chassezac avec mes enfants . Nous avons été bien accueillis à notre arrivée . Le mobil home est très fonctionnel et bien décoré. Nos enfants on apprécie les animations. Et nous avons fait quelque bon petit repas au restaurant du camping. Et pour conclure je recommande vivement ce camping pour vos futures vacances

camping bien tenu, mais les mobiles home ont des petites surfaces de terrain et sont à proximité des sanitiaires sans doute à la construction pour limiter les longueur d'évacuation. L'accueil est plutôt froid, c'est les vacances soyer plus cool
