Mitre
A very large reserve (28ha) with dispersed sites shaded by a woodland of Yellow Gum (White Ironbark), Brown Stringybark and Long-leaved Box (Bundy) with a thin understory of wattles and some grass over gravel. There are 4 very dispersed fireplaces and tables, a couple well off the road.
Northhead
Basic Campground, right on the beach and the Moruya River mouth. Amazing spot for fishing, beach bumming or just spending a lazy day. Although it is near the airport (very infrequently used) this is a very quiet and peaceful spot. Showers and flushing toilets.
Sanderston
Non powered camping grounds amongst the Red Gums with drop hole toilet. 4 Eco cabins 2 cottages. Restaurant with good food reasonable prices. Good quiet site. Various walking trails. A 4x4 track taking approx. 3-4hrs to travel is available for a fee. Check the web site for full details.

Suitable for large organised groups and set in Kowen Forest, Canberra`s largest commercial pine plantation.

Camping right on Dutton Bay. Great spot for the fisherman, swimmer or just when you want to be near the water. You can camp right on the waters edge of this magnificent bay. Close to Farm Beach. There are a few fire rings (bring your own firewood).
Bouddi
Very small campsite behind Gunnai Beach in Cape Conran Coastal ParkThere are no facilities here, not even toilets. There are two sites available for pre-booking. Short walk over sandy track to the beach. AccessThis campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
Pleasant, extended river flats well shaded by Peppermint, Manna Gum, Blackwood & wattle. More shrubs and vegetation than other Howqua Hills HA sites. Semi-dispersed grassed (short) clearings. Surrounded by the forested foothills of the alps. Features Pickerings Hut (private).
Taggerty
A pleasant old sawmill clearing (partially revegetated) sheltered in a forested valley near the bubbling Little River. There are groups of scattered sites, semi-secluded by bush and distance, designed mainly for car/tent camping, however small caravans and campervans will fit.
Paling Yards
This is one of the more popular campsites in the Abercrombie River National Park as it is accessible with a 2wd vehicle. The sites are grassy, mostly level, surrounded by bush, but don't have a lot of shade.
Geeveston
This picnic and camping area next to the Arve River is amongst the forest and ferns and a stones throw from the water. This campsite would make an excellent base for exploring the Arve River and surrounding forests.
Basic Bush Camp alongside a rocky gully with pit toilets and barbecues. Located in the North West Region of NSW, nearest town Bingara. The camp area is small and gravel, and really only suitable for small vans due to limited space.
Maryvale
This is a basic, but large and grassy, campground on the banks of the MacQuarie River, near Dubbo. The campground itself is moderately sloping and fairly open, although there are a couple of larger trees near the edges for shade.
An attractive secluded gully surrounded by steep forested hills looking out on rolling farmland. The pleasant grassed clearing is shaded by Yellow Gum, Yellow Box and wattles, backed by Stringybark Messmate and Red Ironbark with little understory on the rocky slopes.
Basic bush camping on the edge of the Murrumbidgee River. There are no facilities here, however there are basic long drop toilets a few hundred metres away at the Bird Cage Rest Area. There is plenty of shady spots, however can be a dusty spot, especially in summer.

Pretty little campground beside the Yarrangobilly RiverGreat for tent based camping as it is open, level and grassy. If the weather is warm you can have a splash in the bubbling creek.
