Deeply disappointed Anglais

Arrived on Sunday the 29th of July (peak season), only one person running the reception as well as the shop so I didn't feel like I had the full attention of the young lady that was meant to be taking care of business. I had previously inquired as which pitch number would be assigned to us (138) as we are a family of five with a large tunnel tent, this was to be a 4 flower pitch of 130m2 or more. As we were unable to get onto the site for another hour, I decided to go and see the pitch that had been assigned to us. To my severe disappointment I found a pitch of the stated size but with a huge oak tree right in the middle of it and 2/3 of the pitch looking like a ploughed field which rendered it useless for pitching a tent. After discussing the issue with the reception, I was appointed a different pitch (141) which is clearly marked on the campsites own map as a 3 flower pitch but when I inquired about the price difference, I was informed that the pitch was wrongly marked on the site map and that this was in fact a 4 flower pitch. Finally got ourselves installed on the pitch and sent the kids off to explore the site, only for them to return within five minutes with the news that the toilets of the closest sanitation block were not in use and wouldn't be for the rest of the season. This forcing us to walk to the main sanitation block some 400m further each and every time (which I can tell you can lead to very close calls in the morning!!!), which have been updated for the ladies but the gents have to put up with something that wouldn't look out of place on the set of Carry on camping. Further the MTB trail that is advertised is no more than a cobbled together pile of wood and ditches that is not clearly defined or maintained. The restaurant is little more than a take away with tables, offering a very limited variety of fried food or pizza. Shame on you Yelloh!!!, I've come to expect more from your sites.

Weinig toerisme zelfs in juli.
