Small and rustic campsite in the Spanish wine region Ribera del Duero
Between vineyards and pine trees, just outside the town of Peñafiel, you´ll find our quiet campsite with large and shady pitches, comfortable bungalows and clean sanitary. From your pitch you´ll be able to see birds and squirrels moving from tree to tree. Relax in the swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful sunsets while sipping a glass of local wine on the terrace of our restaurant El Carro Viejo.
There are numerous wineries in the area where you can participate in wine tourism related activities such as guided visits and tastings and from the camping you can start your hiking or biking routes in the surroundings. Every year Peñafiel hosts events such as Easter, Charangas, the local festivity of San Roque and the Ribera Run Race. Because our campsite is located in the center of the Spanish autonomous region Castilla y Leon, you´re able to reach cities such as Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Burgos within an hour.
