This wonderful camping is located next to a river, great to swim, and the scenery ist just so so peaceful and pretty. The number of sites is limited to 33 so not too busy. You just have the feeling to be on your own little island but you are not! La Corconne has its evenings with music, pizzas (delicious), couscous, paellas etc...The atmosphere on the camping is very friendly, happy, I guess thanks to Peggy, Noll and their family working there. They all are very cheery, helpful, funny too and this is so refreshing!! There is a bread/croissants/pains au chocolat service in the morning and the prices are as if you would go to the bakery yourself. The children loved the camping and said that we would come back every year from now on. The prices are very reasonnable, not to say low, you can argue that some things could be improved in the shower/toilet area but really, it is just a fab place (with fab people :-))

Arrived to be told '..tell them to f**k off' by the owner. All in jest, but not exactly a warm welcome after a 10 hr drive. Location is great, but the campsite itself was a disgrace. Overgrown and neglected, smelly and run-down. I know it is not a commercial site, which is why I chose it, but it is possible to be independent AND hygienic. Too much rubbish lying around, cables draped over trees, not much for young children to do (the river is only really suitable for >6 years old). Seemed to attract a bizarre breed of selfish hippy intent on having a great time at the expense of others. To improve: just look after the site better, clear some of the overgrown vegetation and crud, remove the disgusting fridges and cr8p that litter the site. It is not responsible eco-tourism to leave what could be a beautiful site to be overrun. There is a huge orchard that was full of rotting fruit - either look after it, or lose it.

Alles is perfect op deze camping, ook leuk voor jongeren. Maar ook voor mensen die stille avonden willen is het perfect.
