The site is close to the "Escher Déierepark" animal park, offering an enriching experience for animal lovers, as well as beautiful natural landscapes and sports fields. It has 70 pitches (80-100m2), perfect for campers. The campsite has a pétanque track and a playground, for the enjoyment of the youngest. In addition, the site is ideal for mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts, offering many trails and routes suitable for these activities.
The campsite also offers caravan rentals, ideal for those who do not have their own equipment, thus offering a simple and comfortable solution for a pleasant stay. The heated and modern sanitary facilities are at your disposal, for your comfort. And for added convenience, each pitch has electrical connections. Whether you are here for a few days or for a longer stay, the Gaalgebierg campsite is a perfect place to relax, practice sports activities and enjoy nature, all year round.

Write a reviewNa een flinke klim, netjes en vriendelijk ontvangen. Sanitair was redelijk. Maar wat een bende op de camping, het leek wel of dat de meerderheid van de bezetting werk migranten waren. Tot laat, en zeer vroeg druk met rijden over de camping. Bij veel "vaste gasten" een bende op de plekken. Oude auto's met onderdelen.

Aankomst receptie was vriendelijk. Daar houdt het ook mee op. Sanitair stinkt, teveel vaste plekken die er onooglijk uit zien. Voor één nachtje op doorreis prima, maar langer echt niet. Steile klim omhoog met caravan. Geen aanrader om lang te verblijven.

However, we are sorry to learn that the sanitation facilities and the appearance of the pitches did not meet your expectations. We take your comments seriously and will work on improving these aspects. Regarding the steep climb with a caravan, we understand that it can be challenging for some, and we will consider solutions to make access easier. Wij zijn er geweest ivm een grote hondenshow in Luxemburg. Erg gastvrij honden waren meer dan welkom. Heel net verwarmd sanitair. Wij komen zeker een keer terug!

Verschrikkelijk, zoals het sanitair stinkt, de bezette plekken achter op de camping lijkt wel een sloop caravan opslag, oh ja ze vertrekken 's morgens om 05.00 om te gaan werken weg nachtrust. Het ziet er niet uit.

Zeer prettig / vriendelijk / betrokken personeel die zich ook regelmatig op het terrein liet zien. Iets waar andere campings een voorbeeld aan mogen nemen. Bij aankomst nam de beheerder de tijd om alles toe te lichten waar wat te vinden was op de camping en hoe alles werkt. Ook bij het bestellen van de broodjes toonde men zich vrij flexibel en kon je zelfs in de namiddag nog je bestelling opgeven. Voor toegang tot het terrein met de auto en de sanitair ruimte moest je wel pasjes gebruiken (waardoor het sanitair ook alleen maar door de campinggasten gebruikt kan worden). Het gebruik van warm water was inclusief, dus geen verrekening achteraf. De binnenstad van Esch-sur-Alzette ligt op loopafstand van de camping. De camping ligt boven op de berg dus wel even klimmen en dalen om er te komen. Kortom wat ons betreft is deze camping ook een aanrader.
