This is a well maintained and formalised campground right on the ocean in Great Otway National Park
There are 22 individual sites and a day use area. There is water available, a communal fireplace and a boat launching area. All this within a stones throw of the Bass Straight. There is good fishing to be had off the beach, as well as miles of walking along the coast. This campground forms part of the Great Ocean Walk, however hikers access different campsites (the hikers campsites are not free and must be booked in advance). Thanks to Peter for additional info... Rated Blanket Bay @ 4.5/5 Collect firewood along Lighthouse Road - firewood collection within National Park prohibited
