Below The Dam Camping Area in the United States

We've traversed the entirety of the United States and this location ranks among the top off-grid camping sites we've experienced. The Grand Tetons are approximately an hour's drive from here, and the southern mountain range offers breathtaking scenery and excellent hiking opportunities.

We camped here in a 40' motorhome in September 2021. The road in to the boondocking spots can be a bit rough but we made it work. There is a paid-for campground nearby that has a public dump station which makes this an extra convenient boondocking site. Great location, nearby waterfall, beautiful scenery. Plenty of clearing for starlink to work perfectly.

The way in can be a bit rough, large rocks, varied degrees of sand but all in all not terribly hard to access.

Only complaint would be you can really hear the highway even though it is over the River from here, but we did camp pretty close to the water.

On our way from Boise to Jackson Hole and was looking for an easy in and out. This is our first try with Campendium and was just spot on the coordinates and description. So thought we would add a couple new photos.
