Port Orford Overlook in die Vereinigten Staaten

Good location. Close to harbor and town; easy walking distance to both. Beautiful views. 4 bars ATT and Verizon. A true port in the storm!

We were staying at the Humbug Mountain State Park and drove by to check this place out. 10 bucks to park overnight and a mailbox to put it in. Nice location in town overlooking the port.

This is as others say just a gravel parking lot but what a beautiful view to wake up to. Perfect for dry camping (no hook ups of any kind). Very quiet and private. Doesn’t have an abundance of space so may fill up quickly during warmer camping months. I wish we could find more areas like this along the coast.

This is just a gravel parking lot in Port Orford, Oregon. I'm not sure who owns it, as there is just a post in the ground with a sign that says $10 per night. No hookups or any amenities at all, but the view here is amazing. It sits on a bluff with a wonderful ocean and port view. There is a small amount of traffic in and out of the port but very quiet in the evening. It can get windy....but if the sun is out and it's not windy, WOW! There are restaurants and local shopping within walking distance. We recommend TJ's cafe, super friendly and good food.
