Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA in die Vereinigten Staaten

The personnel were friendly and very accommodating. Garbage was collected daily. Complete utilities were provided. Access was convenient. There was a bit of noise due to the proximity of the airport's flight path. The spaces were compact, yet suitable for brief visits. We plan to revisit.

Stayed at the start of November 2021 and am currently updating my reviews. The site was a back-in, full hook-up with 50 AMP. I would likely return, primarily due to the lack of other nearby campgrounds. POSITIVES: The site itself was gravel with grassy living spaces. The spacing between sites was decent, although a bit close to the back. The grounds were well-kept and the staff were extremely friendly. There was a nice grassy area for walking dogs. The location was convenient, with numerous activities, gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants just minutes away. NEGATIVES: The layout of the sites resulted in some overlap at the back, which meant that when others were camping, it felt as though they were in your personal space - a bit odd when you're in your own rig. Noise was an issue as the campground is adjacent to a residential area where, oddly enough, fireworks were set off nightly for an hour and a half throughout our week-long stay. This was strange considering it was November. Additional noise came from the local amusement park, Carowinds, which set off its own fireworks nightly, albeit for only 10 minutes at a time.

We made a reservation when there weren't many options for 35' fifth wheel sites. This was one of the premium sites featuring a concrete pad. The asphalt path leading to site 136 was rather uneven and deteriorating. Site 136 was completely flat - a bonus. The entrance to the KOA registration parking area is right after the Exxon petrol station. They have a small check-in office near the parking area, and if you arrive after hours, they'll post your details on a notice board at that office. This isn't an ideal campground for a long stay - it's more suited for a brief stop, however, it's quite pricey. (The price is post-KOA discount).

Lots of campers packed into a very small space. Surprisingly quiet. Showers were hot and clean. Location was convenient next to highway.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Sites we not the leveset but the camper did auto level. Electrical was good 50 amps. Water pressure was good. No cable at our site. Campers were packed and close.There was a convenient store, restaurant and Amazon Hub within walking distance. They keep the campground clean and the bath houses have a digital lock and clean. Good hot water for about 10 mins. They did have premium sites with concrete pads but none available the dates we needed. But overall it was a good campground not so quite but it would be good for a few days. It is close to hwy77.
