An open grassed area beside the Tumbarumbaâ€“Tooma Rd, 18 km south of Tumbarumba.
You can swim and fish here; and in the area mountain bike and bushwalk. Bring your own firewood. When reviewed (Jan 2015), it was packed with all types of vehicles, so it is popular. Street view of site:
