About Tankwa Tented Camp

Tankwa Tented Camp offer accommodation in permanent rip stop canvas tents and en-suite chalets. The original farmhouse (Hartebeeshuisie) is used as a communal kitchen and lounge area for the tents. We have permanent staff that can help you with accommodation and food. Meal packs are available.
The chalets are comfortably equipped and sleep two guests. Basic amenities are provided.
Chalet x5: Our chalets are furnished with a double or two single beds. All basic amenities are provided with a private shower and toilet.
Tent x9: Our tents are furnished with two single beds and a small lamp. All basic amenities are provided with a shared shower and toilet.
Campsite Climax x1: A separate campsite set in the open plains of the Tankwa Karoo with the Afrikaburn Artwork in the background. Perfect for group bookings and for those who enjoy a bit of solitude and peace and quiet.
Caravan Spykertjie x1: The honeymoon caravan deserted in the ‘vlaktes’.
Campsite Main x3: Our main campsite is situated next to the communal area, bar and dining room.
