More shrubs and vegetation than other Howqua Hills HA sites. Semi-dispersed grassed (short) clearings. Surrounded by the forested foothills of the alps. Features Pickerings Hut (private). Popular at peak periods. Rated 4.2/5

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there
From Mansfield: East 21k on the Mount Buller Rd [C320] through Merrijig, right (south) 18k up then down the Howqua Hills Rd (gravel) to Sheepyard Flat, cross the Howqua River (road now called Brocks) 1.0k, signed, short, gravel track on the left.
