This is an eco, vegan and vegetarian backpackers lodge and retreat on the edge of the Knysna Forest, in the heart of the Garden Route. A magical place where we hope to inspire you with our holistic eco lifestyle and where we live alongside nature, so guys, this means no meat cooked by guests at our peace loving lodge.
We offer affordable accommodation, where the luxury is the peace, safety and abundant nature! All our units are simply and eclectically furnished with most things for a comfy stay. We have a variety of cottages, rustic barn cabins, safari style forest tents, traveller’s lodge double rooms and eco camp sites. Please note Wi-Fi is only available at reception.
PLEASE NOTE: As a Vegan Lodge we expect Guests to respect our ethos - A meat free zone.
We offer a variety of affordable units, from a converted barn, to stables and retro canvas tents on timber decks in the forest. You can go self cater or try our delicious 5 star vegan meals. For entertainment of the human kind, enjoy our sunset Soiree's and if feeling a bit more introspective enquire about our next international workshop or retreat.
We are close to Knysna’s famous river estuary, lakes, beaches and forests. All the major attractions of the Garden Route are a mere one to one and a half hours drive away, and we are a perfect halfway stop from Cape Town enroute to Addo Elephant National Park and the Wild Coast. We are 6km from Knysna on the west side, and 8.2km from the N2 along a picturesque country road leading to Rheenendal Village and the historical Millwood Forests.
