About Lilly Pod @ Glen Eden
Lilly Pod @ Glen Eden offers Montagu accommodation on Glen Eden Farm. The pod is situated in a field, away from the cottages, close to the river, with mountain views. Lilly Pod @ Glen Eden provides glamping in Montagu for four guests. The pod comprises a hand-made, gypsy wagon which is furnished with a Queen-size, extra-length bed and a seating area which can be converted into an additional single bed. The pod also has a teepee tent which sleeps two people and is furnished with two single beds (if required). It has a private pod with a bathroom fitted with a shower, eco-toilet and basin, as well as a small kitchen equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, coffee- and tea-making facilities, a fridge-freezer, crockery and cutlery. Outside there is a braai, hot tub and fire pit with tree stump seating to relax and enjoy the fire whilst chatting with friends enjoying a drink or two. There are a number of walks around the farm, although think of the farm as your own during your stay and wander. There is a dam with black bass and tilapia for fishing, the area has a picnic bench and fire pit should you wish to braai there. We have a touch farm with alpacas, goats, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks, which you're welcome to walk around at any time. You may even get a visit from our gardening crew of sheep and donkeys who are roaming around. If you want to get up close and personal to any of the animals, we can arrange for you to join us to feed them.
