Kleinrivier is a paradise for hikers, birders and those who simply want to escape other people for a while.We have not introduced any of the big five so it is safe to walk and explore our many trails on your own. The scenery in the Kleinrivier gorge is spectacularly beautiful and there are frequent pools to tempt you in on a hot summer day. If you are lucky you may encounter klipspringer, kudu or other game that we have introduced.

This is a very special place. I can personally recommend the Black Eagle tented camp it has all the necessities and a few luxuries, considering you are in the middle of the veld. A lovely scenic, natural place to spend time with special people. There is something for everyone from your regular camper to the couple who want a luxury stay in the South African Wilderness. Don't Believe me, go see for yourself. I would go back in the blink of an eye.

My husband, 5 year old son and I had a magical 4 nights at Kleinrivier. The farm is incredible with so many amazing hikes to choose from and options to swim. Dassie 4 cabin was peaceful and private - a perfect escape from the city. Next time wed like to book Black Eagle Tented Camp - it looks phenomenal.

Very, very clean an neat place! Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautifil surroundings. Well marked trails with beautiful views. Very helpful service from Dion and personnel.
