Écrire un avisLooking for accommodation near the mammoth? Excellent! Prefer to avoid the typical camping amenities? This is the spot for you. Expect to see fuel-driven golf carts wandering the roads, helmed by intoxicated adults or their underage offspring. Rude neighboring campers who lack basic camping manners, casting glaring lights into your site. The maintenance of the area is subpar. If such an "RV resort" appeals to you, then you've found your destination. The glowing reviews we've encountered leave us baffled. We definitely won't consider revisiting this place.

Our original plan was to stay in Mammoth Cave National Park's campground with no hook-ups, but ultimately we got scared off by the threat of cold temperatures in early April (and it was below freezing one night that we were there) and how unequipped we are for dry camping and went in the opposite direction with our first stay at a Jellystone.
