This is one of the nicest rest stops you will find. It is clean and has nice covered picnic areas, dog areas, and all features you would expect at a rest area. Also, it has water at each picnic area. Far enough off the highway to minimize noise, except for the trucks parking there of course.

This is a Florida Welcome Center rest area! Awesome sign for photo op, clean bathrooms, covered shelters with picnic tables and water. We set up in mid afternoon, pulled out our grill and cooked some burgers with palm trees in the background. We also had plenty of AT&T to stream videos. The visitors information center closed at 5 pm but the rest of the facility remained open.
