Circle K Campground – États-Unis

Avoid this place at all cost, the people that are here seasonally are nice however management is horrible. Where to start?? Maybe Thursday before our trip, the site says their hours are until 5pm. A guy answered phone and I asked to book 3 nights 2 sites, he said we’re closed call back tomorrow. I asked what time he closes and he said “what time is it?” I said 4:38 and he says “we close now. Closed early bye” and hung up. So unprofessional. I called back next day and the lady, Sarah I think her name is was super nice so we booked the stay. That should have been a red flag right there. The guy is super rude and cus’ at you. The water system is not reliable. There was no water pressure and my hot water tank went empty which could cause damage. This should be told to the customer at booking time that water pressure may go low, I mean may go to nothing. The guy that runs the place makes kids cry and and will not refund you or give you credit if you buy bands for the pool and then 10 minutes later closes it!!! He said “you should watch the weather!” I go to a different camp ground every weekend and this is by far the WORST one there is!! The worker said we could bring a small dog in the store if we keep in our arms, then the next day this “old man” that runs it, YELLED at us for bringing dog in store while in our hands… while we are supporting small business buying a lot of stuff from their store!! He said he wants to call the health department on us for walking into his store with a small dog… if anything he should never bring up the health department because THIS PLACE IS NOT CLEAN!! The bathrooms are disgusting, the laundry room is disgusting, and a lot of the sites have crap everywhere piled everywhere and he’s worried about a small fully trained mini poodle? This guy was rude and ridiculous. I rented two sites for 3 nights!! You think they’d be appreciative especially with us paying top dollar for all the things we bought in the store on several occasions!! Then I was told to “f off” when bringing up my concerns professionally. Later he stopped me to yell more at me and asked why it’s such a big deal. The $4 isn’t a big deal it’s the principle. He then arguing and finally gave me my $4 back, I thanked him and started to pull away and he called me an a$&hole!! There is no need for this. I’m so mad that I even booked it here!!!

Booked this last minute thinking we’d found something good. It’s mostly a trailer park with full time residents—not the type of place you want to be staying with wife and kids.
