This is a pretty decent KOA, well-situated for trips to the national park and Cleveland. The camp shop is good and the staff were excellent. Our plot (201) had a significant slope where the RV was parked, descending around 18 inches to the picnic table area. This resulted in a large step when exiting the RV and we couldn't position the picnic table fully under the awning. While these issues can be managed, the sewer connection being approximately 12 inches higher than our RV's outlet was a deal breaker. I managed to empty the grey tank using the snake method, but didn't want to take a chance with the black tank. We ended up emptying our tanks at the dump station on our final day. All in all, I would return to this campsite, but I would scrutinize my plot more thoroughly before detaching.

Our two-week stay at this campground was during our trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and nearby areas. The main road leads directly to the reception, situated on your left. When checking in, park at the stop sign to provide space for other campers to bypass on the left and enter through the passcode-activated gate. Apart from four small back-in spots near the reception, all short-term stay areas are located on the right/eastern side of the campground. There are two brief rows of pull-through sites, with the rest being back-ins. Each site features gravel pads and grassy lawns, linked by gravel roads. Most sites have at least one tree, but only a few have ample shade. We had to place a board under our camper's driver-side tires at our fairly level site (611), and we weren't alone in doing so. Every site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with the three deluxe patio sites also equipped with a gas grill. The hookups were conveniently located. The campground offers standard KOA facilities. The reception houses a typical convenience/souvenir shop and an ice cream counter. A propane refill tank is nearby, and it seems they also offer 20lbs propane tank swaps. Two playgrounds are available: one opposite the pool with a sandpit and basketball hoop, and another at the campground's rear with a swing set, tetherball court, and open grassy area. There are three pavilions and two bathhouses with individual bathrooms and showers. Two dog runs are present, one small with a white, narrow-rail fence and single gate near the entrance bathhouse, and a larger one at the back with a chain link fence, airlock gate, but no lighting. There are ample grassy spaces around the lakes and campground perimeter for dog walks. As for mobile service, my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna provided the best speed at 10 Mbps download and 14 Mbps upload. Some evenings, the

Stayed here in early/mid September. Arrived on a Saturday and the park was busy. They were wrapping up activities like a car show and wood cutting demonstration. Staff (mostly younger kids on weekend, older staff on weekdays) was very friendly. The park has clear and reasonable rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay, but I never felt like we were being overly watched like elementary school children during the stay. Our spot was generally level (gravel). I had observed some of the other reviews with complaints about I level spots. Unless you’re paying for a pad, I fee you have to expect to use some leveling skills when camping. Sites in our area were close. You’re camp side is going to be right up against your neighbors hookups. It wasn’t so close that we didn’t enjoy ourselves. We felt we had plenty of room on all sides. The owners care, and it shows. The grounds were well kept, the bath/shower houses were clean and seemingly recently updated. The park seemed to have a large number of seasonal sites, but they were all well kept. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this KOA to anyone who passes through.

$67 for a Saturday night with a KOA rewards discount is too much for a muddy site across from a pen they called a “dog park”. We were just passing through and there were few choices in this area of NE Ohio; we would travel on rather than stay here again. Although WiFi is advertised it is virtually nonexistent. WiFi access was one reason we booked this spot; for the cost, we expected service. The campground also appears to be seriously understaffed and most staff members were teenagers who were inefficient and inexperienced - check-in was slow. Only positive was that it was quiet.

Average campground. Mixed emotions about it. There was a lot of conflicting information in the paperwork handed out when we checked in and what actually happened. Examples: - Pool hours listed as 9AM - 8PM on paperwork, but sign at pool had varied hours - Garbage pick up listed as 8AM - 8PM, but they didn’t come around to pick up in the evening several times. Because of this, raccoons got into the bags of trash people left for pick up. (Only dumpster located all the way at front of park, outside the gates). - Check in/out times. Check out on paperwork listed as 11AM, but received a text from the KOA stating check out is noon. In addition to this conflicting information, several of the sites were on grass (water/electric sites) and very muddy. Looked like it was a perpetual issue as there were several deep ruts in all of the grass sites. Our full hookup site was gravel and was level. Several seasonal / long term residents. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean. Offered fire wood and ice delivery to sites. Good location to see Cuyahoga Valley National Park as it’s fairly centrally located. Park was quiet.

First the good stuff: Friendly KOA-uniformed staff upon check-in, appealing entrance driveway to office registration. Updated sewer connection as well as electric. Quiet at night. The not so good stuff: gate entry pad installed way too low making it very difficult to enter code in a ‘regular’ car let alone a truck or motorhome; very (underline ‘very’) narrow unpaved, uneven roads leading to our site (or any other sites); extremely uneven sites making it quite the task to level; we had a long pull through but very narrow in width forcing us to step on muddy wet grass. We’ve experienced some of these at other campgrounds— but was hurts is the $57/night (with my KOA member 10%)... way off the chart. Connection w/Verizon was ok including the streaming power.

We really enjoyed our stay. Site 550 is on and end with a nice side yard and shade trees. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There’s a management presence to tidy and tend to things. People were well-behaved and orderly. The town of Hudson is really nice and clean with great restaurant selections and great bike trails. One thing we’ve figured out after 3 years and 300 nights of camping... KOAs have standards which are most often met.
