Secluded, attractive, extended grassy flat on a horseshoe bend of the Tyers River.
Shaded by tea tree and wattle (which separate sites) short green grass (slashed), surrounded by Messmate and Southern Blue Gum covered ridges. Kookaburras and a multitude of small birds are common. A very pleasant, quiet camp but popular at peak periods. Rated 4.4/5 Update... Apparently this campground has become quite busy (see comments at bottom of page, and can get noisy. Hopefully this was a one off bad experience, but worth noting.
This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
