The advertisement indicated a rate of $15 per night, however, upon completing our registration, we found a note attached to our tow vehicle stating a fee of $25. This was also confirmed on the town's official website which listed the daily rate as $25. The camping spots were pleasant and there were only two other campers present. The amenities included water, electricity and a waste disposal area located next to the restroom. The campsite was easily accessible. It's advisable to arrive early on the day of a game. We arrived on a Sunday and by 6:00pm, the parking area was packed with vehicles for the junior league baseball match happening on the adjacent field. The issue was that these vehicles were parked in a way that obstructed access to the RV spots.

Upon our arrival, we discovered that only a single location was free, with all the rest covered in a heap of snow! Fortunately, we were the sole visitors during March! It's near a railway line, but that doesn't irritate us. It's extremely peaceful.

This community has embraced this park and made it lovely. Nice green grass, well watered, a walking path with books to read, football practice, volleyball, and level cement pads with 50amp and water. There is a sewer dump and garbage dumpsters at the entrance. If the park was really busy our 63’ would be in the way but we picked the spot by the volleyball sand pit and it was just great. Yes, there are trains. Yes, there is an airport.

We were just passing through and needed a place to crash, and this park was perfect. Basically a parking lot in a small-town municipal park, but $15 for water and electric, and right off the interstate it is a great deal. My husband enjoyed watching a little league baseball game. Bathrooms were clean - no shower. No reservations, first come, but there were plenty of spots. Self registration and self pay - very easy. FYI there is a train track and the train runs frequently throughout the night. We use a noise cancelation machine for evenings like this and we had no problems sleeping, but it could be an issue for some. FYI the municipal pool is right there - for a small fee you can swim.

I was here 6/28/22 in a 30' trailer. This was a nice stop for the night! Back in level spots on cement. Sites far apart. I was able to leave my truck attached. Trains come by often but not too loud. Baseball field across from sites. There was a game the night I was there but it was fine, they weren't there very late. Close to the freeway. Oh almost forgot....the sprinklers came on in the evening and sprayed my trailer instead of the grass. Oh well.... :)

Nice little park next to a ball diamond. Very well kept. I tried to stay at Walmart 10 miles away but My generator broke and I needed electric last minute. 100 degrees here today. I took the last spot, lucky for me. $15 is all and I would have spent that on generator gas. Pads are pristine and a dump station is on site included in price. Nice place

Easy on/off from I80 in Cozad Nebraska. Small RV ark within the city limits that offers water & electric. There is also a dump station. Large area of grass behind with a playground for kids. The noise of the trains didn’t seem to bother us since we had the air going 😊

Perfect spot off of I80 to park for the night. Clean, 50 and 30 amp hookups. Horseshoe pits, volleyball and the Cozad municipal pool all located here. If you are a light sleeper the trains may bother you, overall a perfect stay!

….at about 10pm, the sprinklers turned on and soaked my tent and my truck. Trains blasting horns all night. I’m about to pack up and sprinklers AGAIN at 6:30am. Unbelievable!

Close enough to I-80 for a convenient overnight stay. Yet, far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.

Clean, cheap, 50 amp, beautiful grass, wonderful town. Camper heaven for us when we’re on the road. Every town should have a city park like this.

Easy to find, great place for a overnight spot. We had 3 bars with Verizon. Back in site one concrete slab. Water and electric hookups and there’s a dump station as you drive in. There was a few campers there but everyone was quiet. Little muddy from the weather but sites are on a slab. There is a park there as well to to walk if you want to stretch your legs. There is a small airplane hanger in a distance which is more entertaining. Great place to stay. We do have a 36’ Rv.

Awesome little stop off of I80. It was really nice to have a playground for the kids. The park is really well maintained. The pads were level and easy to access. It’s only a few minutes away from stores if you need anything. Cozad is a neat little town. Downsides, like other reviews, the train blows all night and there is a beacon light from the airport right next to it. Our electric also didn’t work but it looked like it did in the other spots. The toilets are municipal park toilets, don’t expect much. They aren’t extremely clean. Air traffic for the airport is really minimal and only during the day. It was fun watching them land and take off.

15 dollar honor system. They are doing construction on extra sites; the area was extremely muddy. Only real negative for me was I was in a pop up and there is a train that goes by a couple times an hour and is extremely loud! Water and electric hookups; a few miles from I80.
