Concrete parking pads with concrete level sitting area covered by our awning. Good water pressure, 50 amp power, easy in and out. Great dump station. Quiet. Of all the parks we stay in, this is in our top ten list. We are a class a towing a car. Price very reasonable.

Stayed in June, dry until we packed up so didn’t really have any water issues. The loop we were In Was pretty spread out. I really appreciated the 2.5 miles of paved walking trails. The showers were not my favorite as you could not adjust temp or pressure - I am a really hot shower person but it was very tolerable. The roads are dirt/rock and the morning we left it had rained so there was some mud that splattered on the trailer but nothing that you would get stuck in. I was able to choose the site online and it had photos of each site. We were there in the week so not crowded at all.

We stayed here during the "Halloween" season so there was lots of decorating and trick-or-treating for the kids. This place is huge with lots of amenities and is very well maintained. The laundry facility could use some updating, maybe a deep-clean. Otherwise no complaints. We had to move sites because we added a couple days, and it was hassle-free. We'd definitely stay again!

Stayed here 9/10-13. Really well organized and will-run park. They have an a lot of activity for families. There are lots of tenters, and it’s very busy on the weekend. Even so it wasn’t noisy. We were lucky to get a spot for two nights and were able to reserve it for a third. Our site didn’t have much shade, but we were all right. Electric and water only. Back in only. There are some pull through but the majority are back in. It cleared out on Sunday with over half of the sites leaving. They are very attentive to the restrooms and they are clean. The county sheriff patrols the grounds. Close enough to the Renaissance Fair that you could hike there and probably should since the backup getting into that Fair goes about 2 miles. Close to Fenton and Grand Blanc and major interstates. Some general industry noise in the background - not certain what it was but wasn’t bothersome. Had those hard white rocks on the pad which are tough to get stable on and tougher on the knees if you have to get to lower cabinets on the outside of the RV.

This campground has everything I need in a campground: Spacious, walking trails, lake, beach, utilities are reliable, and the grounds and buildings are clean. I've camped here for several years and I can imagine I'll be here again. There is a 4-lane highway next door, but there is a light amount of traffic. Verizon coverage was 1-2 bars, but it was steady enough for streaming every day. There are a couple hotspots in the campground (near concessions and the bathroom), but no WiFi. The campground is near the Renaissance Festival location, grocery stores, and other parks and is within an easy drive to other cities (Grand Blanc, Clarkston, Flint, even Lansing) that might be of interest.

Immaculate grounds, showers, restrooms. Very well cared for. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely add this as a yearly destination. A lot of stuff for kids if you have them. Skate park/ cool bike coarse/ paddle boats and kayak rentals etc...

So being a local to Metro Detroit the cost wasn't too surprising considering the area the park was in... Rochester rd. is the County line and West is Oakland County (the richest county in the State). There are a lot of activities to do, is super clean considering it's an RV park. The site was very nice with a concrete pad... I didn't have the choice of site because I went during a Halloween event, so I didn't have any problems in that area. Now, I did hear from many people that this park does get really muddy when it rains. I actually left early because of the chance of rain on my last day. Other than the rain part... My trip here was a good one because I like to hike and bike ride both of which are at this camp ground. I would recommend this camp ground on a dry weekend.

Great visit. Park was maybe 1/2 full, the park stopped taking new reservations a couple of weeks ago due to limited staff. This was our first time camping at Groveland Oaks in a camper, previously we rented a cabin. Since we had full hook up, we did not need to use the public bathrooms though are friends commented that they were very clean. We didn’t think we would like our site, #17 but found that it was on the larger side and a bit more private. Most of the sites had ample space in between though are friends site, #10 seemed a little closer to their neighbors (they were on the inside of the ring). We have been camping during the week while my sons have been in school and husband worked. We were under the impression, mistakenly that this park offered WiFi. Well, not exactly. There is a hotspot near the restaurant but it doesn’t work. Thankfully we had our Verizon hotspot. Nothing was open in the park with regards to boats, arcade, putt putt, etc. but it did not take away from our entertainment. Evening campfires, long walks, basketball, playing on the playground and biking.
