The boat harbor opposite our location is consistently loud throughout the night. The seaside is merely a brief stroll away, however, it's compact and features a number of oil rigs. The restrooms were exceptionally neat. The park is predominantly occupied by winter visitors and has limited paved areas, resulting in most camping spots being on the lawn. The entire park has a somewhat neglected appearance.

The park was not difficult to locate, situated just beyond the Ferry Terminal. The entire area, including the internal roads, is paved. There is sufficient signage, and the check-in process was quick and welcoming. The park rules are quite straightforward. Our allocated spot, 02, was a dirt and grass area that comfortably accommodated our Coach and Towed. Utilities (30/50 amp, water, and sewer only) were positioned on the left side. The spacing was satisfactory for a destination park. Each spot comes with a table, but lacks a fire pit. Our spot was level and even. The park was overall clean and well-kept. It is a dog-friendly park, and we didn't notice any unattended dog waste. However, there are several stray cats residing in the park, resulting in a noticeable amount of cat waste. The cats serve as a deterrent to snakes and rodents. The park does not offer wifi or cable TV. Unfortunately, our Verizon signal was weak, preventing streaming from our Hot Spot. Wifi is supposedly available in the Pavilion, though we didn't test it. We did manage to locate several OTA channels. Satellite might be challenging. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers, but upon inspection, they were clean and modern, as were the laundry facilities. A brief trail from the park leads to a stunning dog-friendly beach. Where the trail becomes sandy, a boardwalk has been installed to accommodate those with disabilities. There are no eateries or shops within comfortable walking distance, but a brief drive will lead you to food, shopping, and convenience stores. We found this park to be a pleasant place to stay for a period. There are no permanent residents, but many seasonal ones who are very sociable. The park offers some organized activities, but we chose not to participate. There are many advantages, but two significant drawbacks - the lack of Wifi with weak Verizon signal and the dirt/grass base that can become muddy when it rains. We paid a

Couldn’t get over the Ferry due to wind! Found this Gem! Would definitely come back again. Would have stayed longer if we had time! Clean, friendly, beach access…Perfect!!!

We stayed here the last week of February, 2021. The park is quiet and mostly long term campers. It is close to the beach and has great access without having to cross a street. The bath house was clean and hot water supplied by on demand water heaters. The spot we had was not equipped with a sewer hookup, only water and electric. Dump station was close by so using my tote was easy. The negative aspects about this park is the sound of the ferry horn first thing in the morning and most of all the most negative thing about the park is the amount of stray cats roaming around and on vehicles , tables , or wherever they want at night. Waking up to sandy cat tracks on my brand new truck was not cool at all. I will be bringing some type of repellent next year. Overall, a nice place to stay with very friendly staff.

This place could be so much more, especially given the location and the price. Sites are very crowded. Lots of road noise in the red site section from the road. The Ferry starts running at 5am and you can hear the PA system announcements. The vibration of the ferry can be felt. 2 of the 5 washers were broken. Dog park is behind the trash bins and there is plenty of poo everywhere, even though there are signs that say pick it up. People were nice enough. We didn’t use the showers. Verizon service is only 2 bars and very slow. I wouldn’t want to come here for a vacation. There is a Beach about a mile away, hardly anyone was there.

The location is good. Near touristy spots such as Fort Gaines, Estuarium, Bird Sanctuary and the ferry to Fort Morgan. The sites are unpaved and a little battered by hurricanes. A lot of full time residents live here so there's overflowing of stuff. There is a beach access but no flag to indicate warnings. The stray cats are little creepy, people not suppose to feed them but they do anyways.
