Op zoek naar een camping enigszins in de nabijheid van de oceaan kwamen we bij Les Platanes terecht.

Le camping "les platanes " à St Geours les maremne. Accueil très chaleureux, ambiance familiale, rapport qualité excellent.. Proprete irréprochable des mobilhomes comme des sanitaires. Tout est fait ici pour le repos . Soirées animées : Pot de bienvenue, Loto, karaoké ,soirée dansante etc le tout sans nuisance sonore pour les couches tot.
Je viens de passer 3 semaines magnifiques. C'est sur j'y retournerais l'été prochain.

Klein en slecht onderhouden plekken voor de doortrekker. Voor i juli veel gesloten. Het sanitair is redelijk. Voor ons geen camping waar we graag terugkomen.

Leuke camping! Je wordt goed ontvangen, en er is een groot speelterrein aan (tennis, tafeltennis,...). Er zijn twee minpunten aan deze camping (maar deze zijn relativeerbaar):
- er is relatief weinig ruimte: de kampeerplekken zijn eerder klein en dicht op elkaar. Dit is een camping met vooral bungalows.
- er is iets mis met het water in het sanitair. Soms is het warm water in de douche heel heet, en dan is zelfs het water uit de koudwaterkraan nog lauw.

Op weg naar Portugal kwamen wij voor onze 2e overnachting op 26 juni op deze camping terecht. De camping is fraai aangelegd en heeft een mooi zwembad. Engelse eigenaren. Veel vaste kampeerders en mobile homes. Echt een franse camping met Franse kampeerders. Er zijn een paar toerplekken. Sanitair is oud maar wel netjes. Op de terugreis 13 juli hebben wij hier weer overnacht. Het is wel raar dat er een aantal toilletten en douches op slot zijn, zodat er maar 3 gebruikt kunnen worden, zeker in het hoogseizoen.
Bij de camping is een bar. vanaf 1 juli open

komen vanaf plm. 1993 met grote regelmaat op deze camping terug. Andy en zijn vrouw Celia zijn perfecte gastheer/vrouw !!!!
