Dusty, washboard gravel rod on the way in, take it slow and you’ll be fine. Many spots available, only saw 1 other camper. Got a decent spot backed up to the Snake River on a Sunday later afternoon, several RZR’s a dirt bikes going up and down the dirt road but I’m sure they’ll die down near sunset. Zero trash after the weekend at the 4-5 sites near me so hopefully campers are being more responsible!

We found a cool spot by the river but quickly realized how much trash there was everywhere. We filled a kitchen size trash bag with what had been left around our site by previous campers. There was a lot of human waste and toilet paper left here too. We cleaned up and made the best of our stay here but I would not come back. It’s such a shame when people want to use public lands but don’t want to care for them. The cell service and river access were nice though!

There is a bit of washboard road right before you get to the camp sites, maybe 3 to 5 miles. Just slow down and you'll be fine. There is a sign and then sites appear on both sides of the road just find one that works for you. Don't have any of the phone providers listed but we had three to five bars 4g service with our provider who uses Verizon towers.

The road in was gravel, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the other reviews made it out to be. We definitely expected worse! We made it in easily without 4x4. Also as other reviews noted, the area has a lot of bugs - which is to be expected in the National Forest. If you have solar panels, it is important to note that most spots have some shade. We had to pull out the generator a few times to make it through due to the lack of sun rays passing through the trees. We pulled the fifth-wheel right up next to the river and it was super quiet and serene when we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon. By Friday afternoon, however, the local crowds came in with their toys and subwoofers. It gets pretty crazy on the weekend and people drive quite irresponsibly on this road. There are a ton of spots, and big rigs can definitely find a spot if you arrive during the week or during off-season. We would not choose to stay here again, as there are nicer spots up higher by Kelly Canyon that are prettier and have less people.
