Tanglewood Camping RV Park in die Vereinigten Staaten

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tanglewood . The bathrooms , showers and laundry room were all spotless clean as was the store . The lake had decent fishing and paddle boat rentals and was warm and clean to swim in with a small but nice beach . Owners and employees were very friendly and helpful . I would say it’s 2/3 seasonal and 1/3 transients and weekenders but there were plenty of good sites for them and the campground was almost full on the weekend . There are lots of trees and sites are all partially shaded . The dump station is easy to access for rigs of any size . We will defiantly return .

We needed a place to stay on a holiday weekend and they found space for us which was great. Two stars for the kindness. That said, want to be transparent about the campground which is almost entirely seasonals, closely spaced, around a very murky pond. Feels more like a temporary apartment complex than anything outdoorsy. Bath house wasn't great either and location pretty limited option of nearby recreation

What to do when your truck is failing and you need a Ford dealer and campground, pronto! While heading to New York we quickly pulled into Tanglewood Camping in Covington, PA where I felt like I had fallen back in time to a sweet, bucolic campground complete with swimming and boat rental. The site size gave us sufficient privacy. There is a table and fire pit at each site. Very clean showers and restrooms. Large, fenced dog run. With Good Sam discount was 10% less/night. Access only 4 stars as it's a 7-mile drive off the highway but once you arrive it is so very worth it! Cell service is AOK, able to post review and photos, no problem. WiFi offered by park was very good. There are many 'seasonals' from the local communities who summer at this park but we found everyone friendly and welcoming. I always look for the silver lining when something goes awry and Tanglewood Camping was it!
