Talkeetna Camper Park is located on the Talkeetna Spur Road 13.7 miles from the Parks Highway. We are a family owned and operated, full service RV park conveniently located 1/2 mile from Main Street Talkeetna. We offer 34 RV sites with full or partial hook-ups, a dump station, bathrooms with showers, laundry and gift store with all locally made gifts. We are and easy walk to all Talkeetna ameneties including flightseeing, fishing charters, rafting, jet boat rides, Alaska Railroad Depot, resaurants and gift stores. So do not pass us by or you will miss out on true Alaskan hospitality. ** Located in a beautiful scenic surrounding with views of Mt. McKinley, Talkeetna Camper Park lies within a historical Alaskan town offeringlots of activities for the whole family.

The sites are gravel and fairly close together, but our neighbors managed to squeeze a second RV in with them, so maybe not too close together. There are trees scattered around, so I wouldn’t classify it as a parking lot, but they don’t really provide much privacy. You do have room for awnings and slides. There are no picnic tables or fire pits at the sites, but there is a large shared fire pit near the bathhouse.

We stayed here for 10 days. Nice little park with some FHU 50AMP sites. Most sites are water/electric. There is a dump station, bathrooms/showers, and a laundry room. There is also free WiFi. The location is great. Right behind the train station (yes there is some train noise), next to the Latitude 62 bar and grill, and within walking distance to downtown and the airport. If you have a big rig there are only a few sites that will accommodate you without some tricky parking but it’s possible.
