We arrived at the campground on a Sunday evening and had many options to pick from. The camp hosts welcomed us and where a blast to talk too. Camp spots and nice large and level parking. Beautiful fire rings, camp squares and very well maintained grounds. Had a 2 bars of T-Mobile 5G as well.

Spent two nights at this lovely little campground. Fairly easy access from I-15 . It was a good location for a day trip to Craters of the Moon National Monument, and Pocatello is home to some good local breweries. It was quiet the two nights we were here, and the dark sky afforded for some beautiful stars while out by the campfire. No hook-ups here, and campground has vault toilets, but they were clean. There is water available throughout the campground. Our site was a nice pull-thru, and was fairly private. The campground is in a beautiful forest setting. Definitely will stay here again when traveling through the area.

I'm giving this a full 5 stars mainly due to the fact that we snagged the best spot in the campground, site 7. Our site is a pull through (not generally my favorite type of sites), but has the most privacy of all the sites in the campground with woods on either side and a longish pull through area so you are not right off any of the campground roads. We also have our own water spicket at the site, along with a nice fire pit, a standing BBQ grill and a picnic table. Note, our site was a non-reservable site and we were fortunate enough to get it by arriving late morning on a Friday. Other benefits to this campground are the proximity to biking/hiking trails, good cell reception, and friendly hosts. We had a nice conversation with one of the hosts (I think his name was Jim) about mountain biking in the area. The negatives are the number of ATVers that use these same trails, the bushes are a bit overgrown and tend to encroach on the roads (potential for scratching vehicles). If you need to access town, it's about a 25 minute drive, but not bad. We are self contained, so do not use the campground bathrooms, but I suspect the bathrooms are simply a vault toilet. Some mentioned bugs, but we had no issues. There is a large group area that was being utilized by a large youth group. They were somewhat loud (drum circle or something like that), but they were done at a reasonable time. And, frankly, the drumming was not unpleasant.
