Very clean campground with clean showers and bathrooms. Nice little store with camping supplies and propane. Heated pool in summer and mini golf. Play area for kids and breakfast on weekends which we didn’t get to try. A little traffic noise but not bad. Wifi was good and 2 laundry rooms with a lounge above it with a pool table tv and sitting area inside and a nice porch with a great view of the mountains.

We needed a night in Durango as we were passing through...got their last site that would fit us. Only downside was we were right behind the store/bathroom/shower, so we had a lot of people walking through our site at all hours vs a few steps either direction that would have been more courteous. Beggers can't be choosers I guess. We had the pie/ice cream combo...yum. Breakfast was pancakes and waffles for a fee...wasn't cheaper than going to a McD's, but more convenient. There was a dog run, a 'gold mine' think for the kids, the pool was heavily used but not out of control. Lot's of tents which surprised me...I'm not a KOA frequenter but expected RV's. I'm in a tear drop. Showers were good...a little outdated by the standards I'm seeing at other RV parks. More showers than bathroom stalls, so there was a morning wait to do your business. All in all a nice place, nice people. Caters to families.

I don't often camp in RV parks. This KOA was a pleasant surprise. Many of the sites have trees around them. The grounds are well manicured with lots of flowers. There is even a herb garden open for campers to use. There are two dog runs for different size dogs. They even allow dogs in the ditch/stream. One surprise was that they cook pizzas and deliver them to your site. No doubt a bonus for families. The one downside is the noise from the highway. That said, the hosts are really nice, and willing to deliver propane tanks back to your site.

The park has a lot of amenities (heated pool, dog parks, food, entertainment for kids, full hookups). They have a lot of people working here keeping the park maintained. Our check in was easy and they have someone to take you to your spot and back in. You can hear the highway noise all the time. The park is in a good location to get into Durango. Our site was very small. We were unable to open our awning and did not have a fire ring. We were also across from the bathrooms with noise that goes with that. The managers next to us were very rude to us multiple times. We do not plan to return.
