My family really enjoyed this place. The full timers that are up near the front flat area were friendly. The campground area with hook ups under the trees was beautiful. Great access to Long Beach and Cape Disappointment SP. The pool and Jacuzzi were a nice bonus. I think the facility could use a little TLC to kick it up a bit, but was great for what we needed.

This time a year they have the back section closed down. We were in a tight spot that was a typical RV campground. We walked the back section and if it was open, it is nice with open sites.

When we made the reservation, we were asked where we wanted to stay. We chose the wooded area as it sounded cozier. It is true that the wooded area is a more desirable location but the hilly conditions bit us this time. We were given spot B-70. It was not a back-in spot, which is OK. However, when I backed in the spot had such a downslope there was no way that I could lower the trailer far enough to make it work. I didn't want to build up the axles higher to let the tongue go lower as it would make it easier for the trailer to roll off the blocks (this has happened to us before). I tried a couple of different solutions and settled on parking up on the hill next to us which is where we were supposed to use our table. In the length of the site, it must have declined at least 3-4 feet! The two attached photos show where we should have been able to park (where the truck is parked) and where we did end up parking. Later the same night, I was outside and heard a rather loud explicative from a fellow camper across the street. Shortly after that, I noticed water coming out of a green pipe in the ground. The camper had run over a buried valve and broke the water pipe. This shut off the water to the park for the evening. To the camp's credit, it was fixed the next day. If you stay here, the wooded area is nice in the upper loops but the back in spots along the row we were in are not very good. WiFi in our section is non-existent. You have to be close to the office. AT&T speed was fantastic! Verizon was lacking.
