The park is located along a very picturesque narrow winding road (Big Rig friendly just be careful). There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is a little on the small side and you don’t see it until you are on top of it.. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, 45, was a gravel pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Our sewer connection was a little on the high side but still usable. Distancing is not bad for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was well manicured The park included wifi worked well. There is no cable TV but we were able to find some OTA channels but reception was very spotty. Satellite might be difficult in some site because of trees We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them dated but clean the same for the laundromat. A good sized pool is available (in season) as well as a playground, basket ball court etc. There is a very pretty creek running along side the property. This is a very quiet and relaxing park. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We paid 55.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

I see a lot of reviews, and quite frankly I don’t understand what some people complain about. The owner, Carmen, greeted us when we arrived. Got us squared away right away, the site is beautiful, surrounded by 130 year old red and white oaks, There’s not a speck of garbage, at night it is dark you can see the stars and it is very quiet. There was a certain type of person that lives the RV Lifestyle. If you’re one of us, you’ll be very happy here. I mean what are you looking for? To be entertained by a clown? I would recommend this park to anyone Sterling and Raaya Churgin Southampton NY

We stayed at this campground while visiting Philadelphia. There is a regional train in Downingtown that made it very convenient to go to Philadelphia. The campground was very quiet and the people there were extremely friendly. The road from 322 to the campground was a bit tight with tree branches low and close to the road, but we just slowed down a bit and it wasn't too bad.

We took 3 grandkids on a short tour from Gettysburg to Deleware Beach. Grandson wanted to visit Longwood Gardens and we put him in charge of finding the campground close to the Gardens. This is not the closest to the Gardens but probably the best. There are a lot of permanent sites but they are well maintained. Our campsite was a large pull through with a picnic table and a fire ring. The grandkids and grandpap got good use out of the swimming pool which was clean and warm. Because of COVID the community building and the showers were closed but with a peek they looked pretty nice. The "permanents" were nice and we all social distanced. Gravel road in campground gave the kids some time riding the loops on their bicycles. There was playground things to do but we didn't pay much attention to that or how much cell service there was. Our visit to Longwood Gardens was very HOT but the creek next to the campground and the cover from the trees made it a pretty comfy stay. We would definitely go back there with or without grandkids. The only drawback, do NOT use GPS getting in there. Low branches on the way to the campground. Follow the owner's directions. Also, communication with the owner was very good.
