Despite Google Maps indicating that this location was not open, I can assure you it's certainly operational, as I verified with the Army Corps before my visit. I had a seamless stay here. The area was bustling with roughly 10 assorted vehicles, campers, and boats. The cell reception for AT&T was flawless, and there was a neat vault toilet without a flushing system. Be prepared for a bit of a breeze! The place is conveniently reachable from the main road. Initially, I parked my van near the river, but the wind was quite strong, so I moved it during the night to avoid any chance of being swept into the Columbia River.

Spent the night here on our way to the Washington coast. Easy to get into with a 40’ fifth wheel and a large turn around at the end of the gravel road. Road was a bit washboard but not bad. Great view of the river. In the distance you could hear the trains but really not bad. Only four of us here last night.

This is an easy site to pull off the highway and stay F or the night. The sunset views are stunning. Highway traffic noise is low in the background

We stayed one night but would absolutely come back and stay more! The gravel road isn't too bad. There were a couple of other campers out and there was room for everyone. Beautiful views all around. You just get a bit of noise from the highway and some trains

We have stay here a couple of time already and it’s a great place to stay a night on our trip to the coast. You do hear the road noise and trains but it’s easy to get in and out. It’s right off the freeway there is always at least 3-4 other people here.

The East bound exit takes you under the I-84 and down to the Columbia River. The road isn't paved, just take it slow. You could turn a semi around in here. Lots of space and level enough. There was a Class C here when I arrived. Didn't really notice anyone else. There are 3 long drop toilet and a few tables West of the boat ramp. All were impressively clean. An access gate was open downriver of the boat ramp. I believe you can access the section west of the gate for more parking options. I didn't hear the freeway at all. Just wetland birds ie, kildeer, starling, blackbirds, meadowlark... As usual along the Columbia River, expect it to be breezy during the day and diminishing toward the evening.

There isn't much here, but it is never busy. With water access, views of the river and Washington and decent internet, it's a great place for a night or two. You don't get much highway or train noise, which is nice. It's not a large area, but there are a couple private spots and then one open parking lot. Any size rig can fit and get into this area. I absolutely LOVE the river views!

Good overnight stop. We felt safe and an excellent rest stop on our journey home from the Tetons. A few of the other campers looked to be long term.

Right along the river. Can’t hear cars from the highway. There were around 5-6 other campers while I was here. Big turn around for RVs. There’s a pit toilet. I’d stay again :)

This spot is right on the water, can accommodate big rigs. We were there during the week with our 26’ TT and only saw a couple other campers. You can barely hear train or road noise. Big open gravel area with little shade. It is hot in August! 100 degrees. Vault toilet. Easy and smooth gravel road to get in. 4 bars of Verizon. I would stay again for free, maybe not when so hot though!

This spot is right off I84 with a short gravel road to a handful of spots to camp right by the Columbia River. There is a little train noise but not too bad. There is a lot of wind as this is a popular wind surfing spot. The good news is that wind keeps the bugs under control. Public bathroom (pit) is there as well. Definitely would stay here again if I was looking for quick roadside camp over.

Easy access off I84. A well maintained gravel road leads to a large parking area with a few sites along the Columbia River. We opted to park along the edge of the parking area in a nice level spot. Includes water access including a boat launch. Noted a pit style toilet on premises. Beautiful views of the river. Noted some highway noise and train but not terrible.

This was a nice free place to stay for a night. Great views right on the river. The road in was easy to navigate. Seemed to be recently laid gravel. At the end of the road is a gravel lot that leads to a boat ramp. Plenty of room for several rv’ers. There was only one other RV the night we stayed. The restrooms were locked due to Covid, but there was a clean porta potty. There were 3 cars that came through at separate times after midnight and then left. There is a train track across the river and several trains throughout the night. They didn’t blow the horn, but you can hear them. Didn’t bother us too much. The flies get pretty bad at sunset, but it’s camping so it’s expected. No shade. Fishermen Start to arrive at sunrise (we had 4 show up) so don’t expect to sleep in too late. You’ll wake up as they in load their boats. We didn’t see any sign about no overnight stays. There is “rules” list by the restrooms and it just said “max stay 14 days”.

We pulled up around 1:00 and noticed the no overnight sign, but chose to ignore it, as did others that were there. We parked next to the river just before entering the fenced area. It was beautiful but windy, as it typically is along the Columbia. It was 100 degrees so we didnt venture out much until later in the evening. I did not hear the highway or the trains at night.

Great stop on our way south from Spokane to Crater Lake. We parked right on the river. Right off the highway with gravel road. Small dock and boat ramp. Closed for overnight camping currently- whoops, didn’t get the memo, nor did the 3 other RVs that were here last night too. Very easy to access for all size rigs. Loved our river view. Bit windy last night but only pleasantly breezy this morning. Very glad we made the stop. Plenty of level parking.

Right off the freeway onto well kept gravel washboard. Really easy to get to in any vehicle. Has a clean portable bathroom to use and great river view. About 5-7 other campers and vans. Bring some bug spray in July.
