Small, peaceful family-run site in a rural location but close to road & rail links and just 5 minutes drive is Coutras, a pleasant market town with plenty of shops & supermarkets. Facilities include a bar, meals & take-away service, fresh bread, entertainment and a swimming pool. Lots of excellent value-for-money restaurants nearby. The centre of the site has a beautiful small lake stocked with plenty of fish including carp. Summer starts in April and finishes in October so lots of warm, sunny weather. Good neighbours, a nice friendly mix of Brits and French folk. Always a cheery welcome. If you want to travel further afield by car St. Emillion is 15 minutes, Bordeaux 45 minutes, Bergerac 45 minutes, Perigeux 60 minutes to name but a few. Lots to see and do in the area and a little beyond.
