Skriv en anmeldelseDuring a motorhome maintenance, I found myself stranded in this location. My preference when traveling from Texas to California is to halt anywhere but here. The area is dodgy and filled with factories.

The amenities you'd anticipate from a KOA were present, however, its proximity to the main road and lack of ambiance were quite noticeable.

The sites are paved and gravel. I had one of the deluxe sites but I think most of the sites are the same size just without patio furniture. Some great views of the distant mountains. As others have said, the surrounding area may be sketchy but I never felt unsafe. The park itself is clean and well maintained and all of the camp hosts I encountered whether outside or in the office were very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are private and unisex. The one thing to note, verify the cost of propane before filling. It likely is cheaper somewhere else although maybe not as convenient.

This KOA was very convenient to relatives, so it worked for us. It's right next to I-40 and the noise can keep you awake at night if you have the windows open. But it's location can't be beat. The campground is clean and well kept. The hot tub is HOT, just the way we like it. The staff was very helpful. If we end up in ABQ again, this is definitely where we would stay.

We stayed here on our way to and from Utah. It is a very well run KOA. They also have excellent wifi!
